I am going to write another blog post today. This is about two personalities whose works are close to my heart. One is Lakshmi, who studied at Mithila Art Institute, Madhubani, and was working for nearly two years. I know the competence of the teachers teaching at MAI. But I was bowled by the artworks made by and guided by Lakshmi. Today she is not with us but her work will remain very close to us. She was very cooperative in nature. This blog post is a tribute to her. I feel very unfortunate that I couldn’t meet her.
Another one is Anshu Mala Jha. After a very Long time, I am able to write about her. Though I was planning to write about her for more than one year. She had done her study of music from Miranda house. In her case also, I was not fortunate enough to meet her. I was impressed with her voice and talent of singing when I listened to her song ‘Piya mora Balak’ on youtube. I had never heard such a voice from any other Maithili singers except Rajni Pallavi Ji. Unfortunately, she also left us.
This is my tribute to these two personalities.
