Inspired by the paintings of Pichwai from Nathdwara is this tussar peach color silk dupatta handpainted with the peacock motifs on one side.
Pichwai as the name suggests is the wall hanging. Pichwai art of painting originated in the lanes of Nathdwara. Nathdwara is a small temple town in the state of Rajasthan.
Traditionally Pichwai paintings use to have Srinathji (Lord Krishna Avatar), lotus, cows, temples drawn. Here the Pichwai painting is done on the tussar dupatta, inspired by the Pichwai paintings of Nathdwara.

Organic natural colors derived from trees and other natural resources are used in drawing and filling the colors. Approx 24-28 days are required to make each piece.
Ideal for – women.

Fabric – Pure Tussar Silk handwoven on a handloom by the weavers. It is soft and possesses subtle luster. It is handpainted in multicolor with floral motifs.
Color – Multicolored. The fabric base is natural tussar silk color and the colors used are organic plant base.
Can be draped in different patterns and styles.
Size – 2.5mtrs x 36 inches(approx).
Care – Dry wash.
Note – The Color of the Picture Shown above may slightly vary due to flash light, screen, and camera resolution. Slight irregularities might be there in the product since it is handwoven and hand-painted but this is what makes it unique.
