This painting tells the story of Vidyapati and Lord Shiva in four parts:
The First part shows the arrival of Lord Shiva in disguise of Ugna in the Poet’s home.
The second part shows Lord Shiva working at Poet’s place.
The third part shows the revelation of the identity of Lord Shiva in front of Vidyapati.
